Energy Alliance Commercial Program Wins National Award

The Council of Development Finance Agencies (CDFA) has awarded the Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance the 2012 Excellence in Energy Finance Award. The Energy Alliance formally accepted the award August 2nd in Washington, D.C. at the CDFA National Development Finance Summit. The national award was presented to newly appointed Finance Director, Jenell Hubbard, and Sr. Community Lender, Alicia Townsend at the awards ceremony.

The Energy Alliance applied for the award with its community partner, The Cincinnati Development Fund, Inc. The pair won the award for their innovative partnership, which enables the Energy Alliance to access CDF’s unique and historic client list of local buildings. In addition to the expanded customer base, CDF and the Energy Alliance will work together to offer market rate loans to commercial building owners.
